Israel Kochin M.D.

Israel Kochin M.D. is a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist who provides care to children of all ages in the Midwood neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, and the Elmhurst neighborhood of Queens, New York. Dr. Kochin completed his bachelor’s degree in economics at Columbia University. After graduating, he attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1999. He then completed a residency in pediatrics at the Maimonides Medical Center before pursuing his fellowship training in gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition at the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine and the University of California San Diego. As a pediatric gastroenterologist, Dr. Kochin specializes in several childhood illnesses, including food allergies, abdominal pain, nausea, constipation, and autoimmune diseases. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and was elected to become a fellow at the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Kochin can speak Russian, Hebrew, and English. He is also the author of several gastrointestinal disease articles published by esteemed medical journals.
